Happy Tuesday. I have been cutting back again....you know over eating over the holidays. The first thing I do is measure my food. Gosh have you ever measured a serving? It really puts into perspective how much I eat. I had a bowl of Cheerios this morning. I measured out a serving...3/4 Cup. Here is what I got:


That's it folks. This was before my 1/2 cup of milk. This is not much food. I think we as a whole just eat way more than a portion. I know I do. Let's just say I was still hungry after this bowl of cereal. That is why I usually go for more bang for your buck foods. A 1/2 cup of oatmeal is the same amount of calories but way more filling for me. Tip for today: Measure your food for a day. You may be shocked at what a serving really looks like.
