Then there was our trip to Seattle. Sweety had a conference there so we took a few extra days and made a trip out of it. We have never been to the Northwest before.
I heard about all the great fresh local food out that way so I was so excited to go. Usually it's just the 2 of us, but this year we decided to bring the 15 year old with is because we thought it would be a great experience for him, (and he's only 2 years from college) sigh.
Well we had a blast. We rented a car and travelled to Portland where they have tons of food trucks, Port Angeles where we took the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. So very cool. They had the BEST restaurant of the trip. The blue fox. The Moroccan chicken sandwich was fabulous!! Wish I snapped a pic.
The rest was in downtown Seattle, which for a former city girl, now turned country was kinda cool for me.
My favorite of course was Pikes Place Market!! So fresh and good!
